Choir & the McKeeth Christmas party (2024)

This season I learned a nifty trick to simplifying the December madness.

The secret is to become pregnant with your 4th child and suffer the consequences of severe motion sickness. If I can’t waddle there then I’m not coming. (Annoying relatives hate this one trick 😜)

Truthfully, it’s been lonely at home while Tay and the kids go out for one party after the other. Fortunately I have takeout and spreadsheets and Brooklyn 99 reruns for company. And it’s pretty great to see how excited the kids are when they come home.

Anyway, we just celebrated a church party and my side of the family’s Christmas party.

Church choir:

Taylor has been in Christmas choir practice since October. I think the choir instructor is a legitimate musician / conductor. She has them taking on some tougher songs than you’d usually get for a bunch of church volunteers singing up on the stage.

Idk if Taylor knew what he was getting himself into when he first signed up lol. Someone from the Mormon tabernacle choir led a vocal training session at choir practice last Sunday. I guess this choir means business. But it’s been a great experience. He is such a good tenor and loves to sing about his faith. He got the chance to perform for the church Christmas party last weekend. No photo because I was not able to make it thanks to my christmas hack 😦 But he does have one more gig the Sunday prior to Christmas. REALLY hoping I can be there for this one!

McKeeth party:

After choir, Taylor and the kids went to my parents’ home for their annual celebration.

They saw the Polar Express for the first time (Arrow experienced the uncanny valley effect for the first time hahaha.)

Played some games:

And then spent the rest of the evening hanging out or trading government secrets idk. Either way, they all seemed pretty happy when they got home.

Thanks Ky Pie & Mom for the pics!

Been a busy season for Tay & the kids. Excited to join them next year! 😉 And even more so glad there are so many opportunities to celebrate the good holiday.
