Kids are so funny when their routine is broken.

They couldn’t take a bedtime bath since the tub was being used for soaking.

The bath wasn’t the issue. It the was the WHY.

Just pre-washing the sheets 🤷

But apparently this was Very Troubling. Each child independently ran to tell me about the Very Troubling Situation!

Why is there bedding in the tub? How did they get there?? Was I aware of the crimes happening under this roof??? What is happening?!

Kids are also funny about their bounce back rate. After I reassured them that the Very Troubling situation was not a big deal, they immediately forgot their distress and moved on to whomping each other with sticks from the yard.

Ngl their roller coaster psyche gives me whiplash 🤣
