September 2024 little things

Wow, September was a BUSY month.

In addition to grad school and pregnancy, I also signed up to be the local elementary school’s PTA Treasurer. Which is a lot more work than my friend (who is also the new PTA President) and I thought it would be! I haven’t taken any pictures besides this one because we have been running on fumes since before the school year even started lol.

Anyway. September is over. Supposedly it just gets more chill from here on out. Supposedly 😭.

Let’s get into the other “little things” that made up September 🙂

One morning while stripping sheets, I found this suspicious pile of hair. Uh oh.

The culprit didn’t even try to hide his crimes.

Cat photo tax of Junior being an idiot of eating straight out of the bag. But who can blame him? You can see the bottom of his dish!! HE CAN SEE THE BOTTOM OF HIS DISH THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

The kids’ school hosts an “invite a grown-up to eat lunch with you” day. Sander asked his Uncle Nate to come as his special person 🙂

Arrow invited me 🙂

Archer invited Daddy 🙂

We harvested our orchard, as mentioned back in this post. I forgot to say how one of the trees was infested with wasps who were not to keen on sharing the apples. But the kids were brave and picked that tree clean.

I flew out to Denver for a financial planners conference. More to come about that soon.

We got to see our baby bean & its teeny-tiny foot waving on the ultrasound!

Halfway through this pregnancy and it still doesn’t feel real?!

It’s a “party” year for the kids, so we had a big bash for Arrow. Again, more to come on that soon.

Taylor and I splurged on a couch?!

This is the first new thing we’ve ever bought. We are mildly terrified that it’ll end up being a huge waste of money, ha!

We seriously spent months researching fabric types, customizability (we live in a 900 sqft home – ergo- very limited floor space), and quality vs cost. I think we visited Living Spaces 4 or 5 different times… and that’s not including the other furniture warehouses out there. 😬

But we really enjoy how our living room is slowly coming together to represent “us”. It’s SO nice to have a clean piece of furniture with seating for the entire family.

Kylee did our family photos and I LOVE how those photos turned out. I’ll save the majority for the Christmas cards, but here are a couple cute ones 🙂

Yup, September was one for the books. Glad to enjoy the slower seasons coming up.
