One of the best things about being married to a teacher is having the same holidays off:

And being able to spend it with extended family 🙂

Kaeden & Suzy invited us up for a family game day. Thank goodness, too. Taylor has been itching to play some kind of collectible Star Wars game that I would cheerfully toss into the street and tell it to kick rocks. Arrow decided to give it a shot though 🙂

The boys kept busy with Ticket to Ride:

My niece graciously allowed me to sit in her presence and observe her puzzle-making skills. My nephew allowed me to make direct eye contact for .3 seconds. This is progress and I’m not pushing it!

We wrapped up with a fabulous taco soup dinner that K&S so kindly made for us. (PS: Kaeden, I need this recipe!)

And bid adieu to beloved cousins 💔
