Let’s go back to LAST summer. When I took on a dream internship at a bank with these fine gentlemen: Blake, Mitchell, and Jesse.

Each of us worked in a different department for the bank. (Obviously, mine [marketing] was the most fun department. 😉 It was SO nice to put my business marketing theories into real practice (and with real budgets!)
Plus, Taylor and I got to dress up swanky for a couple of events:

^Up here is my boss John and his wife Kara. John is a brilliant marketer. I had him as a college professor a long time ago and he inspired me to look seriously into the marketing field. Ten years later I am finally breaking into the career, ha. Seriously though, John is an amazing mentor and friend.

Up here is my mentor and friend Emma, who is exceptionally good at writing & strategy. I REALLY miss having her as an editor. She has a knack for changing coals into diamonds. SO grateful to have learned from her!
Sadly, the internship came to an end with the close of summer. We interns decided we absolutely needed an Argentinian BBQ at my house.

Jesse taught us how to make an authentic Argentinian grilled steak.

The meat took a few hours to cook. I loved sitting and chatting about books, religion, minecraft… everything and nothing 🙂 Apparently, that’s a major point of this slow cooking method. The food is delicious but the time is meant to be slow down and be with good friends. No better way to spend a warm Sunday afternoon, imo.

Super grateful for everything I learned at TAB and for the people I got to work with

Miss you guys!
