Ok, a few months late posting this, but still exciting for MareBear!

Weber State University had a massive graduating class. The main auditorium was already filled to the brim with people, so our little family gathered in a side room. You can see the disappointment on the kids’ faces, who were hoping they would be in the arms of their grandparents, and not mom and dad’s, for the ceremony.

They got over it pretty quick though. We watched Maren walk the stage on a screen and we still screamed and whooped for her, startling the otherwise quiet audience in the den.

We are SO proud of her for plugging through all those classes. College is hard and it’s certainly not the only type of success out there, but it’s an achievement worth celebrating when someone decides to go through it!

(We missed Kaeden and Suzy who were watching the ceremony over zoom.)

Mike and Sherry treated the group to a Thai restaurant. Months have passed since then and I’m still drooling. SO good.

Being with the family was ok too I guess. 😉
