kitten hospital

We done did it again.

… but times 5 😁😁😁

SO MANY KITTENS

And this is only HALF of the family. Nine babies were rescued from a random dresser drawer in someone’s shed. Or maybe it was under a porch. Possibly in the glove box of a drug lord’s car. Sadly, the kittens had a deadbeat mom and left them to disease and starvation. Or maybe was hit by a car. Possibly adopted by Oprah.

These filthy little babes came home straight to a bath. It did not go well for some.

The poor things were puking out their butts and pooping out their mouths. Eyes glued shut from infection.

Through my dedicated efforts, they were soon cured of their ailments. Our dedicated medicine regimen consisted of popping a syringe of medicine in their mouth twice daily and watching Captain Jack Sparrow shake a jar of dirt.

But anyone who has ever been around a youngling of any species knows; as soon as everyone is healthy, one gets sick, and the germs spread like a melting stick of margarine in a hot pan.

So we rolled back and put them in Kitten ICU. The most critical kits got their own room! (At one point they alll got their own space.)

Poor babies cried for each other all night ☹️

As of now, the kittens have been discharged from the kitty hospital. They are super playful and purring and adorable and happy and-

Oh no. Which of them just started sneezing?
