We’ve had a LOT of change in the past 9 months. Taylor was accepted to OT school, we packed up to move to Texas, DIDN’T move to Texas, Taylor got a new job, our landlords sold the townhome with a month’s warning, and we bought our first home. My stomach hurts just writing this paragraph.
The whiplashes have been rough on everyone, but I think Arrow has really taken the brunt of it. Three new schools in three years. New friends. New bedroom. It’s tough!
So, when Arrow asked to take a day off from school to recharge, I agreed. We planned a train trip to IKEA. And to make it extra fun, we asked Umma (my grandma) to come along for the adventure.

(Nut free) lunches and Uno cards were packed

We took pictures of things we admired 🙂 Sander was a big fan of this rug:

And these train blocks, of course 🙂 might need to go back for these!

I was interested in the compact bathroom design and coat racks. Or, as my children described them, “boring grown up things uuuuvgghhhhh” 😉

We wrapped up our ikea visit with some yummy cinnamon rolls

Thanks for coming with us Umma! And thanks for the idea Arrow love!
