My favorite month with some of my favorite people ❤️

My parents had a valentines tea party the Sunday prior:

Every year I read Valentine stories to my kids’ classes. A good way to encourage a love of reading with the littlest generations… and also get out of planning a party game 😂

Side note: we love the Very Fairy Princess series. Julie Andrews is quite possibly my favorite human being in general and her books are darling!

One little kindergartner melted my heart with his little thank-you-for-the-stories gift. One of his own valentines 🥹🥹🥹

We also took a little detour to the animal shelter with a friend. (Love you Lexi!) no holiday is complete until you get some kitty lovin in there too.

Finally, we ended our day with some little gifts. I gave Taylor a silly sticker map while he took over cooking and gave me this cute little thing. I didn’t know what it was until I tried to break off a piece to eat it. Y’all this is a cactus not a cookie.
