Christmas Eve: grandparents, bingo ballers, and a thank you card

Dressing up for Christmas Eve dinner 🙂

Christmas Eve & Christmas Adam were our “visiting grandparents” days. (We had planned to see Taylor’s extended family at a Christmas Day party but that ended up not working out this year.) We visited Grandpa Jacobs, and then moved to my side of the family.

Homemade gifts were exchanged. So much warmth and happiness in this room. This home. I love my grandparents so. ♥️

Then it was on to the annual Christmas Eve dinner. Christmas doesn’t begin until the fam is gathered together and Ky is flipping me off in the camera 🥰. (missed you Joe & Dave!)

These kids are so lucky to know their great-grandmothers so well.

Christmas Bingo: (Cami doing the voice of her alter ego Bingo Baller: the nursing home serial killer)

My grandma has been doing her version of Swedish Death Cleaning, and made cute Bingo prizes out of the possessions she’s letting go of. (I got a small bottle of eucalyptus honey… it’s surprisingly minty!) I thought this was a clever way to downsize.

Then it was back to home to read the Christmas Story and prepare for Santa!

Arrow found out the truth about Santa this year (Taylor accidentally let it slip the day before Christmas… automatic Naughty List for him!!!) and was pretty bummed out. But she was feeling considerably more excited knowing that presents were coming her way the next morning 🙂

Christmas Eve is always my favorite holiday. Such a good day with family this day.
