bridesmaid dress shopping & a bachelorette party for Kylee

My baby sister got married just last month. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL. There’s plenty more to share about that wonderful day, but let’s start with all the work that went in to make that ceremony happen.

Cami, Kaye, myself, and some of Kylee’s friends stood in as the bridesmaids. Kylee came with me to shop for my bridesmaid dress. This dress made me feel feminine and beautiful, which is something I’ve struggled to feel lately.

Unfortunately, this splendid gown was just over my budget, so I went with ordering a custom dress from Etsy at half the cost. Now THAT was nerve wracking. I had waited until the last minute possible to order it because my weight has been fluctuating like crazy, and I didn’t know how much stretch room the gown would allow. And then, just for fun, I ordered from a shop that didn’t allow returns. (Kylee, I’m not sure that I told you about this part… surprise!) Thankfully, this gown arrived with plenty of time to spare and fit like a gorgeous velvet glove.

The dress came from ENMEstyle. Here is the Etsy shop link for anyone interested 🙂

I still haven’t gotten over the first dress though… maybe I’ll go back to David’s Bridal just to try it on again for a gallant stroll around the store. 🙂

Okay, now onto Kylee’s stag party!

Cami and Kylee’s maid of honor headed up this event. So many little details went into planning the best party for Kylee and they did so well!

I was in charge of the invitations. The theme was “spooky, yet elegant”. Sharing it here bc I’m proud of how the design came out 🙂

Then we had a great party celebrating this woman we love so dearly.

I was REALLY excited to give Kylee & Joe their honeymoon gift…

That’s right. They were gonna frolick on a Hawaiian beach in these bad boys.

(I also gave her a gift card to my favorite model-free lingerie store Mentionables. 🙂 )
