a birthday breakfast

On a peaceful Sunday morning, my side of the family gathered for a little brunch at the International Peace Gardens. We were celebrating my mom’s and my late June birthdays.

(Not pictured, Cam who was sick, and Maddie, who was very much here, but quite literally nosedived to get out of the picture hahaha)

Something that I really love and appreciate about my family is that we celebrate our birthdays together whenever we can. I’ve seen other families drop the birthday fun once the kids reach adulthood. Which is totally fine (: But I love being celebrated for existing and I love sharing that with my favorite people!

We took a tour of the international peace gardens, which is a free nature park tucked away in Salt Lake City.

But was still a lot of fun to explore.

Kylee was testing Taylor if he “could actually read Russian or has been a lying faker buttface for all these years”. He was indeed not a lying faker buttface.
