Every semester, I do a little recap of the college courses on the agenda.
This is supposedly going be the last write up because I’m dropping out of college after graduation this May. I say “supposedly” because after 7 years of trying to get this degree, I’m suspicious that some global wide event might occur, and all colleges everywhere will crumble, and this educational pursuit will be yield worthless.
On the flipside though, if such an event happened, then I wouldn’t have to take these math classes.
COLLEGE ALGEBRA
I actually took this class back in high school. SUPER EXCITED TO TAKE IT AGAIN. My high school professor was a kind and somewhat dull man who didn’t capture my attention. Not that his efforts would have made a difference anyway. Back in those days, I spent my time daydreaming about hedgehogs and fictional male book leads. There was little incentive to change my ways. No way was I ever going to study math in college anyway. I finished that class with a stunning D- grade. Now 10 years later with a marriage and small dependent children, I am just so super proud of my teenage foresight. *headdesk*
2/1/22 update. Here’s how this class has been going:

I know you’re all depending on me to be your sugar mama, but it looks like you’re going to have to hold your own for a while.
STASTISTICS
Mooooore math?! Yes, yes indeed. The final math class to prove my worth into the business field. I like to think I’m clever enough to conquer these courses, but time will tell how often I’m crying to Taylor at 1:00 in the morning about derivations and averages. And as a fun aside; this class is only offered at 6:00 AM!
ADVANCED JOURNALISM
Though studying business management is interesting, it also sucks the ever-living fun out of my very extroverted soul. I feed on other people for happiness. A business degree makes a job out of my survival. Blah. This writing class, wherein I finally have permission to snoop through all of your lives and broadcast it on the internet, will be the creative outlet I will desperately need to stay a happy person. It also ties into the marketing career that I’m preparing myself for.
HISPANIC CULTURE
I don’t have a clue what this class will be about. What is culture? What is hispanic? Why does this count as a language credit alternative? I have no idea. (But people and their lives fascinate me, so I am looking forward to whatever this class is.)
There we have it! One final semester of math + other things to finish up this long journey to this degree. Of course, my study buddy is already waiting at the toilet for me to do our stress relief facemasks together:

I cannot wait to get started!
